Im honored to be the man in charge of WOTA s  and UMTA s  1st event of the year  . It d be nice if the swarms of NITRO riders would discover that a trial in the mid north woods  can offer quite a nice amount of terrain  and be empowered to kick off their year up in the wild country of Wisconsin.    I have been burning some leaves and random wood piles out on the property,  so I hope next mild spell of weather we can start laying out some routes   , being  a 1 day event we will have at least 8  and maybe 10  very well crafted tests,  we may not have a spiffy map like the heavy metal indoor provided their 76 contestents but  most sections will be e z to find  I believe.   will post  more here when  I end up knowing when  course prep is starting.   cheers , Noel

UMTA has Mauston event listed as rider's meeting at 10:30 & start @ 11:00 Huh
As this deviates from the WOTA Norm ( no pun intended Grin), are those correct times?

I plan to be at Mauston this weekend  although it sounds pretty rainy  .  Sunday may be end of showers and I will get out to set some stakes/plates.  Will C may be around slamming some walls .I will play some but  maybe more focused on deciding what lines to mark.  Any one is welcome to stop out,  if I go I may be  still around Monday as well.  Call/text me if you plan to show. 2623253554.

I updated the UMTA website and Facebook event with the following text for Mauston:

"Combined with WOTA. Sign up at 8:00. Rider's meeting at 9:30, start at 10:00."

Thanks for clarifying the times.

Thanks,
Bobby

Worked 4 hours Monday   had  a new guy help out  ,basically not much as far as heavy downed tree removal needed  luckily.  Just  put upper class plates on 2 sections  and raked a new spot  for a wicked champ up  in pines just over the bluff west of parking.  Waiting waiting waiting for spring warmth  to go back and do some more.  Mother natures not too nice this march  unless cold dreary dampness gets u pumped

It looks like Keith and I will be able to come up Saturday to help. Are you heading up Friday or Saturday?

Not sure yet  but I can post when I go  for sure plan on mid morn or mid day start sat depending on what works out     So  I assume Saturday mid day will be working hours  IS STEVE out there as in Kirschner??  how about the masses from BRF area  if they just want to mostly play ride  that would be fine too  .  Mostly need help determining appropriate green and blue routes.
