I am tentatively planning on being at Mauston trials haven this Sunday and a few days after=plan to take in the marvel show Saturday aft, with wife and her siblings, etc.  Weather will probably be drying out by then but maybe back to pretty cool. Anyway if anyone can lend a hand and also spend some time just roosting around please let me know . 25

Going to be  a bit of  a cool spell  this weekend  ,I  may be waiting for  a saw mill to make me some trim pieces  ,so it may be Monday thaty I head up unless any one commits to helping Sunday the  trim can wait.  Fired up  stihl back pack blower it will blow gravel down the driveway  ,quite the machine  ,will be  nice  save the raking muscles.  Cheers

Next 3 weekends are shot for me.  Easier for me to do some during the week time...especially during those last 2 weeks before the event.
I also have a Stihl back pack blower.
Back saver for us old guys  those last couple of Duulth events.  Roll Eyes

Got  a bit done Sunday and Tuesday weather was fantastic, grounds are very good  just a few spots with water seeping out of rock waterfall type areas.  Laid out 3 all rides  and 2 more upper classes mostly set overall  right  about half done  without accounting for complete grooming .  This Easter weekend is  a no go  and weather  has gotten crappy  again anyway.

depending on weather ,plan to ride Dubuque Saturday then go to Mauston and work on trials Sunday.  high of 40 forecast  so it wont be buggy. Might be extending loop a bit and heavy leaf blowing  under pines at west end of parking needed.

Now trials is 10 days  away and so far have had zero offers  for assistance-  I can do it alone but results may be less than desired.  From here on in  I will focus on setup and leave  all grooming go  until  people come Friday and Saturday. I know the weather  has been and continues to be mostly garbage,  I do have  over  one third of  sections  at least started.  Looks like next Thursday is my planned arrival and work till day of event. Cheers.

Are you going to be there this weekend sat or sun? I could come a day and help if you are.
Thanks

I will be probably there Thursday afternoon.  No heavy work but should be able to do ribbon and arrows with one good arm.

Well that's  good news  as so far  with polar air masses  not many people have come out of hibernation or  shown any interest.  Son Phil might be spending a few nights and days at cabin  there is a chance I will go ride with him and a friend or 2 of his on Tuesday  ,if that happens  I may not be back up there  until Friday early.  Or  it may make sense to go up Wednesday to ride with them   and stay through the  weekend  .   Ill call you  . Now I am thinking we need at least 2 or 3 separate -nov- Int   .  Do you have firm plans to arrive-  I have seen   a temp of 66 to 69   possible by late next week that would sure be  a welcome change.

NOW its crunch time  got like 3 days before event .would be great if some labor donors would show up  ,its been underwhelming so far. Chances are the event will be great ,would like to see some others want to make it greater.
