I am planning to be at the Rock next weekend if any body can come out. We have  a multiple tree clustertrunk downed tree mess at the East side of buttcrack rock  .I would love some help clearing that ,also a dead one by bike launch rock and at least one more on North side. Let me know its possible I will be up mid day Friday . Might be a few guys heading up to ride some too??

Shari and I will be at Ft. McCoy on the 6th and can stop on our way home Saturday.  Will have the camper so could stay Sat night.  Guess now I need to attach the bike to the camper for this trip.

Do you have  a decent saw ?  I actually have  a great 16 inch and 2 pretty good 20 inchers but the bigger ones are not up there, I will bring them along though. If Jim or Andy were pumped to drag stuff out w quads, then some larger pieces could be dragged  to get area cleared with way less cutting and handling.

Main area is west north west of gazebo  at that next spot where I have wood ramp  ,one very large oak came down and took a pine and 1 other with it. The way it is down a majority of the 20 inch trunk is 6 ft up in the air so don't know if we end up leaving it and riding under for a few years.  But need to limb it and get smaller ones out of there.

I had rode over there and looked the week I was at Mt Road and agree.  If we get all the smaller limbs out of the way we can work around  the main trunk to make sections.  Maybe Champs can go over part of it.

Cutting/clearing pretty much done  after the jim/Andy day  Jim came back Friday aft and got that main area done ,then Kevin and I  walked loop all the wY Around north side and did main problem spots, we even set 2 sections by the well right along driveway. We are going for shorter less demanding layout ,not quite to the boring level but safer and saner than what could otherwise happen. Need rain   BRF needs h20 truck or top down drip . also I imagine.
