That's funny stuff!!! We helped our cabin fever by dual sporting it around Costa Rica for 7 days of riding.

That must have been sweet   ,I stayed and wundsufed on Lake Arenal 8 yrs ago  ,really enjoyed the country ,the best highways were  a series of endless potholes so a well suspended bike would have missed the craters much better than our rental Jeep. See any monkeys and poisonous snakes?  My oldest son is down there for  a week right now doing some volunteer carpenter work with his church group.  When were u there, cheers

We went to Costa Rica in Dec 2005.  Loved it there.  The Canopy Tours (zip lines) were a blast.  Spent 2 days at Arenal...1 in the hot springs  Grin with a 1 hour message thrown in.  Got to go back.  Heard about the bike tours but never really looked into them.  Was it well worth it?

Noel, we saw some howler monkeys and a lot of road kill that were snakes Smiley That's cool your son is down there. We met a guy who was going to be volunteering there for 2 months gps tracking sea turtles. Steve, it was well worth it and a great time. I was there in 2001, I can't believe I made it home alive after that trip being on a tour bus 10 days. Being on the dirt bikes was a blast! We saw a lot of the country and got to go through some more remote areas with the bikes.

I've been riding most of the winter.  Snow is fun, at least on a regular dirt bike, not a trials bike.  But if I had the choice, I'd rather be in Costa Rica too.  These videos has me chasing an albino deer that has been roaming the property.  Of course she's hard to see in the snow. Grin  Click on the photos to run them.  And then you can click on Small or Medium at the top of the page to make them load faster.

Grin It was very fun! 7 days of riding. We did a big loop starting and ending in San Jose. Probably the craziest riding we did wasn't in the rain forest or water crossings but in San Jose. Scott dubbed it the Urban Enduro LOL! The trip was a blast and the guide was great. It anyone is ever interested let me know and we'll get you his information. We were on DRZ 400's. Stayed at smaller hotels and B&B's, ate great food...it was a blast!
