http://www.wisconsintrials.org/points_tool/wota_points.html

This is the very simple beginning of a work in progress.   Right now it just displays all the people who've gotten points in d16 so far this year.    Points are stored in a database on the wisconsintrials.org server.  There is a corresponding password protected tool that will be used to enter points (not done yet.. for now we've entered the information directly into the database).

upcoming features as I have time:
-- filtering the view to only show one class at a time
-- Remember who you are so your name is selected each time you return to the page
-- Total rank for all d16 (Jim's number plate concept...)

If you have any trouble with it let me know.  Or if you have a feature request let me know that too.

Bently,

Thanks for all your hard work!

Just in case you missed it, here are the D16 points earned from the Byron event, and posted by Jorge a couple of weeks ago. Some of these didn't make it into our Points Display page:

EXPERT... Jeff Policky 20, Ralph Littefield 16, Dan Cotter 13, Jim Altemus 11, Tom Gillespie 10.

ADVANCED... Dave Schigoda 20, Kevin Gernhardt 16.

Intermediate... Frank Caballero 20, Jesse Caballero 16, Jorge Caballero 13, Matt Tucker 11 (pending AMA#).

NOVICE... Jeff Jack 20, Pat Mullarky 16.

Thanks again!

Dave

I put those in myself on Monday, and I do see all of those. Here's a screen shot of what I see. Let me know what you're seeing:

Bent,

Oh - I can see more now.  Scrolling down the screen helps quite a bit!

Ok, I noticed two minor data corrections needed:

 1) Tom Gilespie rode Expert at Byron - his points and class are not shown for Byron.  I supose we need to list him twice, once as an Expert and once as an Advanced.
 2) Matt Tucker is shown twice.

What -is- the correct way to handle that?  Officially?  You can't win two classes.  I asked Jorge but he didn't get back to me yet.  I can list him twice if that's how we're going to do it.  But I want to be sure before i do it.

2) Matt Tucker is shown twice.

Good catch, thanks. I'll fix that tonight...

Tom Gillespie, Jim Altemus, Ralph Littlefield and Dan Cotter rode the Sportsman line at Byron, one line up from Advanced, so I listed them as Expert for Dist 16 points since that would be the Expert line for us.
Since Tom decided to ride the Advanced line at Elkhorn, he gets points in both classes. This would not be an advantage to win two classes, it would be a disadvantage as it splits the points into two classes.
I plan on riding Vintage Class at some of the events as well so I, and anyone else, will also be listed twice. Shocked

I agree with Jorge.  If you look at last years points totals - several people rode in more than one class (Noel rode Champ and Expert, Jorge and Frank rode Novice and Intermediate, Mark C. rode Novice and Vintage) in different events, throughout the year. Roll Eyes

I have one question. I signed up for both WOTA and D16 points at the Elkhorn event, how come I never got any points for the Elkhorn event?

Travis,
I have three Dist 16 apps from the Elkhorn event, Dan Salton, Rick Condron and Wayne Vogt.
The Dist 16 app is different than the WOTA form and it costs $15.00 more to sign up.
I will call the Doll family to make sure we just did not miss it somehow.

Okay, I filled a D16 card and also a WOTA card out at Elkhrn.  I know I did because last year i only got the Wota card and could not get the Advanced class overall championship.  So this year, i made sure taht i filled out both.  I filled it out and then my mother came about 20 minutes later and paid for the day.  It may have gotten lost in the mix and not have gotten paid for.  If this is the case, I will pay for it so I can recieve teh points for Elkhorn.  Would this be possible?

Sorry for so many replys Mr, Cabellaro. But my mother just filled out a District 16 form on the internet and is paying over the internet for it.  I told her of the miss understanding and she just decided to do it over the internet.  I am just wondering if I would still get the points for the Elkhorn event if I filled out the District 16 form just now?
Thanks
