Round #9 of the 2014 AMA/NATC National Trials Championship series was rated as best National of the Year  Grin
This prestigious award being awarded to the Minnesota, Duluth round has special meaning as it is the result of voting by the participating riders.  Congratulations to Trials Master, Mark Winterer and his shady acomplice, Steve Ahlers, and that ever gregarious band of assistant organizational/set up thugs, the 3 Hofstrands, Chris, Jim Winterer, Jim ?, the Deck Brothers, Steve K, Ben, Bear, Connor, those Canuck guys, and Diane Ahlers for putting up with us for longer than anyone should have had to.  Special congratulations to the Section Observers...no way to thank you enough Wink  And since this is the WOTA forum, we have to extend a special thanks to WOTA Prez, Shari Huber, Kevin Huber and Mike Morris for representing WOTA at one of the Sections...sorry if I missed any WOTA people that helped out  Tongue

And last, but definately not least, Thank You to the WOTA people that participated as riders and voted for us as best event!!!!!

That's amazing  people all loved it even with the sauna like weather.  I guess people like riding stuff that doesn't kill them off. It was  a bit simple in spots but that is alright.  That's the approach I used at Smag Rock this fall, and we had mostly smiles from all who rode.   I wonder how voting would rank our WOTA  events , still thinking Baraboo holds the top honors   BUT on Saturday Mauston had  a multi year record breaking champ class with a total of 4 riders.  I had  thought one of the Cheney/ Condron or Villand/Vellenstien/Vinterer  group would have made it  but no luck ;Still searching for what it takes to get into the 30 contestants category.
