Ive found  a number of people are going to the Supercross in Minn,Sat night IF we had  the old 12 noon start time  a FEW of them MAY be able to make it down to ride  from MN   ,but with  the 10 am  start and ridged late penalty I think we will lose 1 to 6 possible entrants, another bummer with the scheduling.  Probably be tough to push start to at least 11 am because that wont guarantee a better outcome anyway.  Also when we get out and set up sections next weekend it would be good to know if many people are wanting to do the gate trials on Sat aft.   Maybe we could save some work by using taped boundaries for normal sections and run them backwards with the number value plates taken down for Sunday.?  That would also leave more unused terrain for Sat messing around ,practice.

My 2 cents...10  am too early and noon too late.  11:00 am works best....for me!
Would be in favor of noon at Mauston if that would make it attractive to some of the SuperX attendees.

The 10 am Sunday is most geared toward 2 day events which a vast majority are, SO except that people would get home later I see no harm in asking Hubers for an 11 am START  ,GOOD THING I DIDNT DO 1ST WEEK OF THE MONTH WEATHER SERVICE IS CALLING FOR 20 DEGREE NIGHT S UNTIL Friday. wtf REAK

Kevin and I are not the bosses.  We check with Doreen and Dave when decisions need to be made.  We are not against changing the start time to 11:00, since this is a one day event.  We would like input from other members, but we don't have much time.  Please let us know by Friday so we can get the word out.

My vote is for 11  as it will  also be a bit warmer by then .  It may not gain a single rider but I see no harm in posting that as a start time, those who miss it will be there earlier  and have a bit more time for warming up ,etc. We will keep it somewhat short and simple so it doesn't run past 3;30 or 4  . How bummed would Kevin be if we end up  all set up  before he gets there . We could surely leave 2 or 3 spots unmarked .I will post  on Sun night ore Monday what our progress is ,then he can decide what day to come up next week.  Have fun in TN  its like 70  or more degrees  Ive seen.

You don't have to save any setup for me.  If you do get all them done this weekend, I'll use the time next week to start clearing areas at Mt. Road. Could you also post how soft the pits may be and if I should be worried about getting the camper in and out?

I am a bit concerned about too many big rigs IF it rains midweek for 3 days  like forecast says it could be campers will have to stay on gravel on road  .   We will see.  R u ok with AN 11 AM START   AS  a single day event it will allow people to get tjhere easier if not staying over.

Big Jim   I will be around Thursday through Sunday eve,so come on up  Ye s    the gate trial is a non-sanctioned fundraiser  plan to run it Sat  around 3 pm  will  use 3 sections backwards and post point values (gates)  that will be ripped down afterward.  if more than 10 people show we divide into 2 or three teams. Pat is wanting to  stop at Mt Rd thursday and ride  ,is that OK  or how do we confirm.

I work this weekend ( 5th, 6th and 7th) so I can't make it up to help set up. I am off Monday, Tuesday and the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event so if help is needed on those days let me know.
Mr. V.P.   if Mauston is complete and you come to Baraboo to work let me know too, I can meet you there to lend a hand.
As far as the start time goes......I'm good with what ever is decided. Just make sure it's known.
