Hey all,
My son wants to get into trials real bad, not just bicycle trials, he wants a "real" trials bike. He's a decent MX rider, BMX racer, etc. He rides a SX 65 for MX. He play rides around on my Sherco 2.9. It's pretty big on him, he doesn't look real comfortable on it, seems a little bit heavy for him. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not an expert on this, but I think an 80 might be good.  Not sure on all the different brands, but I know the GG has full size wheels, but a much smaller frame.  A low horsepower bike will be safer and teach him technique.

They are tough to find used.  Check with Paynes, Smages or Jeff Policky to see if they know of anything.

If you can get to a northern Illinois trials event (NITRO Trials), Matt Payne (Payne Cycle Center) usually has several "loaner" trials motorcycles at the event for kids to try out.  He usually has several smaller and middle sized trials motorcycles to try out.  I believe he also brought these to our Baraboo event last Fall.
Your son should have fun trying them out. Cheesy Good luck.
