Next event: Dickeyville, August 4th and 5th.  If anyone is available to help set up, I'll be at the day one site on Saturday 7/28/12 and at the day 2 site on Sunday 7/29/12.

Hi  Grin We've never ridden this venue before. Can you give us some information on camping? Is camping available? We didn't realize there was two different venues until we talked to some people this past weekend. Do we camp one place and then pack up Sunday morning or Saturday after that event and move to another place? Trying to figure out logistics (especially with a dog along) so any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

The site for Dickeyville day 1 has a small area that the farmer has that is like a park with a pavillian.  Several of us camp there, then some load up Sunday morning and go the 2 or 3 miles to the day 2 site.  I usually leave my camper at the first place, only because there is more room and my 5th wheel is not as manuverable as a trailer like yours.  We can check out the day 2 area Saturday after the ride is over and you can decide, but I think you will want to take it to the other place Sunday morning so you have everything with you.

I can maybe suggest another option. I am camping at Lake Joy Campground in Belmont.  http://lakejoy.com/home.html  If you would like and can get a spot there I can haul your bikes to the events. I can put 1 on the trailer and 1 behind the 5th wheel Hitch. I have never been to this campground so I don't know how busy it gets. I made reservations back in March. It is about 15 to 20 minutes away. That way you would not have to move and you can leave the camper set up.

Thanks motodave63 Smiley We'll probably just move our stuff around like Kevin suggested so we have all of our stuff with us. We too can haul the bikes in the bed of the truck but if it's as hot as it was last weekend we'd like the camper with so the dog doesn't fry. Thank you for the offer though, it was appreciated!
