The One day events on Sat??????

 Just looking for input on this , I was talking with Andy Hackett and we decussed the option of having our one day events on a Saturday to make it easyer for people to get back home and rest a little before rushing back to work on monday.
 I would think it would make a little more sense for the people that have to travel so far to get here from out of state. it is and option that we could use to help out for setting dates up for the last minute changes or for just to have something different and to ease the travel for all of the out of state people?
you tell me what you think and if you would like to do saturday events in wisconsin.  everyone that rides trials are welcome to chime in !! JimV

I would suggest that historical attendance at 2 days is better on Sunday than on Saturday.  I do believe there are still a number of people that work on Saturday, or at least part of the day.  IMHO

In ILL. the Elmwood crew insisted on having their event on Sat.......they felt that Sat. events would be better for  them ....They had it on Sat for a number  of years in a row......The first year they had 30 to 35 riders , when the avg. turn out for NITRO was 28. We were pleasantly surprised.
   But the numbers fell back to Average or just below NITRO,s Average........I believe the last two years they have asked for Sunday events.
One thing you MUST DO......Make Sure That It Is REPEATEDLY pointed out THAT it is a SATURDAY event.......WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH THAT............Ralph
