I was asked by Matt W  what time event would be on the 10th  . I mentioned the normal WOTA format is  a noon start on Saturdays and often  an 11 AM for Sundays  .so I said we will likely shoot for an 11 oclock riders meeting ,is this suitable?  Also does anyone have any time to help out on Friday or Saturday,I am thinking that I will end up just doing the whole event setup those 2 days . The way it looks now I should be able to show up and help Friday and Saturday.  Do you think it is dry enough to get my 5th wheel camper in and out of the field?

Hey thaT  would be great  looking forward to a bigger than heck fire to clear some of that close downed stuff . As  far as how soft iot is I dont  I Havent been there  I suppose it has a lot to do with the rain between now and then  .I am planning to take my 26 ft trailer up and  am glad I have  a 4wd  truck  as well.  As it is mostly  a sod meadow I think we will be fine as long as there is  a day  or so of decent weather before the event.

Mason and I will come up on Saturday morning (4/9) and help.  What should I bring?  Chainsaws? Rakes?

We'll probably camp and ride the event on Sunday.

I will have some tools but  having your own  is better (yeah strong leaf rakes are key),My chainsaws arent the greatest either  .  We will likely use  much of the same sections as last fall escp.in the Exp and Champ almost no one showed so  repetitive routes will not be scorned.I do strongly want to wrap the loop all along the East and North sides of bluff  and that  has some down trees  ,actually a moto bike would rip down through thesand on the new loop the best if someone has the energy to sidehill for hours. I am hoping the next 4 days of rainy weather may point towards  a drier spell after midweek, hopefully!!   Also of interest ---I have invited all opf UMTA to come ride  as their season opener in Thielman sounds like a no go  due to way too much winter up there, big soft parking area and snow in gulleys, hope we have big turnout!
