Kevin has let me know he will be at Smagical Rock this next Saturday willing to do a little chain saw work - with  the 2 day trial coming in early September it would be  a good time for  getting some helpers out .another big storm just rolled through there late this week  so there may be more trees down I wish there were some sort of insurance policy  I could get to have clean up done  ,  every wind storm brings hours of clean up  or  a lost riding place. there is one pretty big oak down right above ramp jump  , my cousin and I cut off most of the limbs but still have main trunk to drop and section up, also I know  the area where the loops come closest together by big flat rock  has  a broken over tree, not as big but still in  a prime area  that will be needed for  the 2 day.  SO  any one wanting to come out  and do some riding  and some rolling of logs  out of the way are more than welcome  , I intend to be there Friday through  Sunday  and  i have  a few saws there ,  so either day is  good , if it is hot and humid I will only be able to work early or late  or for short stints, I am just recovering from pretty strong heat exhaustion and don't want to deal with 3 days of fever ,headaches ,no appetite and etc. again    If you happen to be of the earthly wood burning type  I would allow some wood to be taken away  as there  is never  a shortage  or if you rather  I can offer some payment to get me  a pile started up by back of cabin  for my winter needs  ,I do have  a cheezy 4 wheeler there that may handle maybe 1  8 foot log at a time dragged

The day was  a success.  Had Kevin  Dave J  and Will C  helping  ,a morning shower of rain left highly humid work conditions  so by 2 pm we were done for. But did get  the stuff removed that was in the spots we ride.   NOW  as far as setting up event itself  I am busy Labor day weekend  so  the August 26-27 will be  a probable start    and then the 3 days before event will most likely be  when most of it gets  laid out.  will be begging for help  we need almost 16 sections made.  I promise they will be  SHORT as compared to  April s round
