Here is a training video on Non-Stop Trials.  It was produced for the European/World riders/observers by F.I.M.  Excellent production quality video. From what I can tell from the video, it looks just like the AHRMA vintage trials rules, and just like the trials rules we used back in the 1970's.

So, does anyone know - Are we planning to use the non-stop rules in Wisconsion or Illinois this season?

No, we are not using these rules this year.  The nationals are not using them either.  We are all just going to see how they work at the world level and then decide.

The '70's sucked.  I'm not going back.

That makes sense.  Thanks Kevin.

I got half-way through that video and got so frustrated with what they were showing that I gave up.  The differences between the red-x and green-check runs were so minuscule that I could almost never tell the difference between them.

It was bad enough with the "stop" rules when a section worker said a rider got a point for a touch when video replay showed it was nothing more than a graze across or against a rock (feet on the pegs, bottom of foot grazes a rock, one person says it was a point, when most people would not count it).  But now you're going to have these kinds of disagreements happening in almost every section.  Crazy.
