I just wanted to say thanks to Jim V and all the guys who set up the event .  It was a ton of fun.  It was good to see Andy the one armed bandit again!  We look forward to you riding with us soon.

Yeah another fantastic WOTA  event just when I thought  trials was dying we get  a  nice turnout, even  a fair group of  pedestrians. Kevin H ub er  and I knocked ourselves out sweating 4 hours Monday and Tuesday clearing 2 more very sweet  areas  at Mauston ,the first spot just North of the section 1  rocks( similar stone steps  with a longer wraparound climb)  and  in the 1st north kink near the 1st  extreme loop downhill a natural watkins glen style waterfall flat enough to ride up.  He also sawed up a lot of downed dead wood just below and East of the deck  for  an all classes section  and better access to send the loop Eastward. Wednesday after he left in the morning hard rain I scraped and raked all the spots and than took 4 stroke out  and with the new mositure really grooved in some tracks .May psrt  a few pics  .  Next time I head up I will post  a new thread its only 6 weeks  until event  ,it would be much appreciated  to have  some more setup help, BTW  I will need materials Jim.    Not sure about Dickeyville  ,I guess you may drop off  arrows up there  when time  gets closer/..  I may be  heading up with the backhoe in the next few weeks  so  many large leaners will be pulled  down   .

Would have liked to stay and do more work at Mauston, since the next event is a 2 day (more sections needed), but I had to be back at work Thrusday.  Glad I left when I did, even though it was a little slippery making the turn at the end of the lane.  My 5th wheel wanted to push me straight across the road.  Then, after I passed Dubuque, it started to rain there.  They got 12 inches and a lot of record flooding.  Highway 151 is still closed south of Dubuque, which is how I came home.  Dickeyville is a few miles north of Dubuque and looks like they got 6 to 8 inches, so gald we didn't have a start there yet, or all the ribbons and arrows would have been washed away.  Also looks like Lena (NITRO) got a lot of rain and they did have some setup done already for the event August 6/7.
