Nomination for AMA Road Offroad Congressman

Dear District 16 clubs and promoters:
 
You may recall that I have decided not to run for District 16 President for 2010.  But, I am running for AMA Congressman for "Road/OffRoad Recreation".  As in the past club and promoter representatives at the Annual Meeting will be able to hear the nominees tell why they would like your vote.
 
HOWEVER, the voting will not take place at the Annual Meeting.  All clubs and promoters should be getting a notice from AMA with the instructions and password for on-line computer voting.
 
I am asking that you support me for the Road/OffRoad Recreation Congressman to AMA.  Many of you know I have been the D16 President for the past several years.  I also served as D16 President for several years in the 1980's.  I have been a member of the Madison Motorcycle Club since 1972.  I held many positions including President, Treasurer and am currently the Club Referee.  We have held 2 or 3 Road rides each year for many, many years.  We started the Big Woods 200 Dual Sport several years ago....since then a new club the Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders was formed and they have been putting on the 2 Wabeno Dual Sports.  MMC held a new Dual Sport near Madison a few weeks ago.  We put on 2 enduros for many years and took over the Ruff E Nuff Enduro when the club putting it on decided to stop doing so.  We also put on a couple Hare Scrambles.
 
I think my years of experience in a club that does Road and Off Road events plus years of being President of District 16 gives me a good background to represent the recreational riders at AMA Congress.
