Sounds like a busy afternoon. Why don't we have the WOTA meeting at 10:00 am and then spend the rest of the day having fun?
I know that the meeting is not on anyone's fun to do list, but we need to get thigs going for 2009.
We need dates for the events because the sanction meeting is the 8th of November.
What does the endurocross course consist of?
I'm thinking I might bring my 83 Husky Enduro to race.

The meeting first is  actually a good idea  as long as people agree. It is a bit far for Dolls to get here so that could be a problem.I know they have gotten here on the late side before ,could  have something to do with milking cows.  Our EX  has rocks logs dirt and tires  like the real ones  one problem is the course  was made  for practice so it has a  fair amount of single line stuff  ,not many places to pass ,aand  it might be  too much to tape off whole course to keep schlubs from cutting the course  .  Anyway its  just for kicks or sh!ts and giggles (if your Kirschner)   he likes to  say that a lot.   RYP did come through with some free swag  like hats ,socks, and such.

I was with the Mark Doll yesterday and he is planning to be at Elkhorn by 10:30 or a little later.
We should plan to have the meeting as soon as he get's there.

He had 1 point each day .   The only other entries in EX hibition were 2 Mizell  s   Pat rode  the 4 stroke on Sunday and was giving a thumbs up  . I did  get mine so rides may be had for 5 $ s for 5 minutes unless you bought a Sherco from me.   Hopefully the snow comes late or light  ,Sundays forecast is far less nice than we enjoyed last weekend for the Lois Bean field races.   Oh well  we will have the Hobbi out ther with the heater on and maybe an all dAY fire to huddle around if it is nasty .  i am not going overboard with the layout knowing the traction will likely be nil  ,.

Noel, $5 for 5 min?  Are you kidding?  That's a four stroke Sherco not a Montesa. LOL  Cheesy
Hey, I bought a Sherco from a guy that picked it up from you.  Does that count?  Wink
See ya Sunday.

I set  THE course last night and I felt good about it until we got another shot of rain last night ,I will probably get some pine shavings for the uphills .Also with only 4 sections and most likely less than 20 riders I think we can be done in just a couple of hours, it is supposed to be sunny and very windy so maybe running the EX 1 st would also dry things a bit  but with all the leaves on the ground it will maybe not dry much.  I also might consider a modified gate rule where for maybe 2 of the 4 attempts we could allow a single dab???  or?

Thanks to those who came out  the riding was actually very good.  we canned the EX partly because Phil was still missing a usable clutch finger and Pats 200 has no spark.   We are still up for people coming out and riding as long as the snow stays away give a call 2627234773  also  have some nice 290  s 4 sale/
