Hello! I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the upcoming WOTA/UMTA event at Theilman. We've been setting up sections since late June and have a lot of totally new riding areas cleared out. I'd guess we've been averaging around 8-10 man hours per section (sometimes more, sometimes less). We also plan on awarding some small door prizes to 1 rider in each class (each day). The idea is that we'll select 1 section for each class and the 1st rider in that class to clean the section, wins the prize. We're hoping riders will eagerly try to ride the section first to win, but then perhaps not walk it well enough to clean it.
They aren't elaborate prizes, but they are all motorcycle related and hopefully add some fun to the event. We'll also have some bottled water out at various sections for the riders and candy at the youth sections as well. For anyone who's never been there, there is primitive camping available in the pits (it's free, but a donation to the land owner is appreciated) and a decent restaurant directly across the street for dinner and breakfast. There is a RV camp site across the street as well (but it's only for annual members). We hope to see you there for a very fun weekend!
