The weather, sections, loop were great both days, a little rain before start on Sunday.
The traction was tacky in most places, but a few slick spots.
Total Riders on Saturday was 15.
Total Riders on Sunday was 12.
Total spectators on Saturday was around 20 to 40 dual-sport/adventure riders/others,
plus many quads playing in the pond.
Dinner at the Doll's was great!
On Sunday, there were so few riders (or people) on the loop that ...it was spooky!

Also - On Sunday, Shawn Mauritz moved up from Intermediate to Advanced, and did just fine, with a mid-pack finish!
Also on Sunday, in the Advanced Division, Jake Poth moved up from last place on Saturday to first place on Sunday!

 Nice riding fellas!  Cool

Well now I feel bad for not going.  A buddy mine from Indy and I went to the Theilman trail ride on Saturday.  We took our trials bikes too, intending on riding Sunday.  We left the Lacrosse motel and it started raining and never stopped all the way to Prairie.  I just figured it was gonna be a mud fest, along with the rain on Friday.  We kept going until Dubuque and it was dry and nice there and we rode in the afternoon at my place.  We both would have rode the Expert class and I guess I could have easily claimed third place. Grin     12 rider is a pretty pathetic turn out.  I'm sure the weather didn't help.

On another note, there was also a two day trials at Thielman too.  I don't know who does the scheduling, but that seems like a conflict to have two trials that close together on the same weekend.  I'm sure some riders from both sides, would have crossed over to these events, had they not been on the same weekend.
