As witnessed so far by Jelnick and Mc Nulty and  a new father son Acor team.  I have picked up a bluff near Mauston that is better than most  of the best areas I have seen for great trials  riding in the midwest  I am wondering if ,since it is pretty close to Mt Road Baraboo, if we should consider  a 1 day at each location  in July??  there is about 1 acre of flat prairie for parking  and after this weekend we should have 6 or more section spots cleared and getting grooved in.  We will find it hard to come up with a weekend to throw a work/play event  as the Natc  Eastern rounds are coming soon and then its July.   Any thoughts  ,  Jim V  do you think  it can be worked out ,We have done the Platteville/Dickeyville move 10 miles to ride thing and it was good ..

I can't speak for Jim V. but i thought I might throw out this idea. From what I understand the Baraboo Hills area is up for sale and if it sells the chances of us being able to continue our events there may come to end. Maybe those dates can be used for your new area instead.......... Sept 11 and 12. Just a thought!!!!!

Hey cool to the new land!!!!! the more the better I say, BUT!!!!! I am stuck in a hole this year, Yuck ! the doctors tell me I have a torn rotator cuff and  I have not been able to even get in to get it evaluated yet and to see what kind of sugery they are thinking for me yet either!!! So,,,, I am in need of all the help I can get to have the mountain rd site in shape and ready to go for the time of the event in July. which will take up all my time from now on to get people to help me out just to get the stuff ready that I want to for this year at baraboo,  There is nothing I would like more than to be able to go ride and help set up anything new for wisconsin!!!      BUT I must also take into thought that work that is going into getting food set up for the 2 day event we are having there on Mountain Rd, and that the  Mentes are working hard in the back ground to help us maintain that this event will go on as planned! Thank you JIM Mente! and Judy! and Mindy for getting the food taken care of for us to injoy! so to change this event now would be a mess I think, BUT I would take into thought that it may work out for that fall ride planned for baraboo and a one day here and the other there,  I could help with that I will be open to everyones thoughts, this is your club people!!! as far as I am concered the people  should have the say! everyone speak up ! if I was 100% I would be working with the smages to help out all I could! and do my Baraboo site on the weekdays after I get off work TOO!!!  SORRY for the long wind but now that you know,,, I can use all the help that I can get from all of you soon! we only have a month!!! please help me if you can I am open to any weekend that we are not having a wota ride!!! thanks JIMV

My thought is why have a two day that 80 % of the people have to drive 2 hrs too.....and then pick up camp to move 5-20 mi. to ride the next day.....I think focusing on one venue for both days makes for 2-good events......I have ridden the new Barabo....the place is awsome.......AND I AM SURE IF NOEL PUT MONEY DOWN FOR A RIDING AREATHAT IS A 2-HOUR DRIVE...IT IS ALSO F#$%^&* AWESOME..........have the new event take the place of the Old Barabo.....Ralph
