The Elkhorn Trial was held on June 15th in the Smage Woods. Noel and Company prepared 6 challenging sections in the woods, for a 4 loop Trial.  Both the weather and the competition were excellent.  Some of the sections became slick as the day wore on, but that just added to the fun.  Here are the results:

Expert - 1) Noel Smage 13 pts,  2) Bryan Moenssen 50 pts,  3) Travis Kirkpatrick 60 pts,  4) Ralph Littlefield 69 pts,  5) Jim Altemus 77 pts.

Advanced - 1) Scott Loveless 35,  2) Dan Cotter 48,  3) Dave Schigoda 64,  4) Max Gernhardt 72,  5) Dan Salton 79,  6) Kevin Gernhardt.

Intermediate -  1) Cody Behrens 12,  2) Matt Tucker 51,  3) Terry Pease DNF.

Novice - 1) Scott Wolter 46,  2) Kenneth Koch 88,  3) David Gunn 97.

Vintage - 1) Pat Doll 11,  2) John Archer 40.

Youth - 1) Cory Loveless 33,  2) Joseph Meyer 57,  3) Carson Loveless 71.

[ Sorry, I didn't catch who won the special "Crash - N - Burn" Trophy ]

Actuyally I set up the entire event(except youth) alone  by prference so any dissing goes to me.  My big amazment was theat fearless Dan Cotter almost took down WOTA s biggest sandbagger.   no offense or pun intended?  aside from myself I guess      anyway thanks to those who came out and for the ones who saved the $   you missed a great chance to rock and roll
