I didn't see until now that you had double-posted this Jorge. 

For those that don't get over to wismoto.com very often, I put up a bunch of links from various Soup articles on this subject.  Interesting stuf.  http://wismoto.com/forum/index.php?topic=143.0

The AMA is a like any company/organization that has been around for a long time... lots of employees who have been there for decades who are entrenched in "the way we do things around here".  The AMA needs to stick to doing what they do best and leave the promoting to others, and if that means getting rid of people who aren't in line with that vision, or even somewhat out of sync with what the current management is trying to do, then get rid of them.
