Dist 16 Officers Meeting

  I attended the District Meeting yesterday and here are some notes...
We focused heavily on getting the Awards banquet to be better attended.
The format will now include a "trade show" on Saturday with vendor booths.
The awards will be handed out on Saturday night, and there will be a dinner/dance as well.
This change alone should bring the Hillclimb and Hare Scrambles riders back to the banquet.
It will be held at the Wintergreen Resort for 2007, and possibly at a waterpark for 2008.
I need to get some pictures/video footage of our '07 Trials season as we will be showing it at the banquet.
The plaques will be the same, but the hoodies will be a little different.(Better)
I would like to have as many trials riders show up as possible to help promote our sport at the banquet.
The officers would like to showcase our state's outstanding performers, as we have several great riders to look up to.
Is it possible to have a Smage Trials demo? Weather permitting of course.
My vendor choice would be Smage Sherco Sales, and bring bikes to show. This will be a great time to promote trials to all of the District riders at one venue.
As usual it will be held on the second weekend in November, 2007



 

Jorge, I personally really appreciate all your hard work.

I put in on my calendar and I'll see if I can make it.  We can work with Jesse on getting a DVD of highlight footage together, and if Smage's can demo I'll MC..

Bent

Seems reasonable    as that  is  a timw of year  with no event conflicts  and  shows seem  enjoyed most by other motorcycle people.   Will keep that date open.
