Tropies for Platteville - Extra D17 Classes?

Last night I picked up the trophies for Platteville.  But when I got home the latest CycleUSA was waiting for me, and it included the Polo write-up.  Angie mentioned that Platteville was their next event, which means this is a combined D17 and D16 event?  And I noticed that D17 (or at least, Nitro) has a LOT more classes than we run up here.  I didn't count them exactly, but the CycleUSA report listed at least 8 classes, maybe as many as 10.  Do we run all those at Platteville?  I don't remember doing that last year, but then I only helped set up sections last year.  For this years event I only bought enough trophies for the 5 WOTA classes (CH, EX, ADV, INT, NOV).  Do I need to get more trophies to cover all the D17 classes? Noel's not around for me to ask him. I would think if we needed trophies for all those extra classes he would have mentioned it when we talked about this back in May, but maybe he forgot it was a combined D17 event?

For laying out the sections, I do remember that we only laid out lines for the 5 WOTA classes last year.  I think that Women and Juniors and those kinds of classes just rode one of our 5 lines (though I don't remember anyone from those "extra" classes showing up at Platteville last year).  I assume it will work that way again this year.

Hi Dan,
I would get trophies for the Dist 17 classes but check with Mark Doll as to his advice.
He may have enough regular WOTA trophies to cover the additional classes.
As for the tape, I could get the blue from Jim and get it to you if you like, or pick a color like green to substitute for the blue. I'll need to know by tomorrow at the latest. Call me.

OK, I talked to Jorge and Mark today, and we got it all straightened out.  A few more trophies are on order, and Jorge is going to get some tape from Jim and then drop it off for me to pick up.   Thanks everyone!
