Results of election of officers at annual meeting.  Shari Huber was re-elected President.  Jeremy Voigtlander was elected Vice President.  Dave Schigoda elected Treasurer.  Becky Bauer elected Secretary.  And Kevin Huber was elected Referee.  And many thanks to Doreen Hamburg for her years of service as secretary and treasurer for WOTA.

My ETA is noon also on Saturday.  I've got a long drive too.  We all do what we can.  Just hope I make it in time for dinner.

Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.  Hope many of you will be able to attend the District 16 Awards.  I will not be attending the banquet but will be there for the awards.  Give me a call at 319-330-8016 so we can get together before or after the awards presentation.  Again congratulation and thank you to our winners and all the great WOTA riders for a great season.

Please bring a chair and maybe something to eat to share.   You could bring, for exp., bag of chips, cookies, veggies, carrots, grapes, apples.  I'll bake some cookies.  And please bring your own drink.
I'll also bring some paper plates, napkins and plastic ware.
Camping allowed Saturday night.

Need feedback and suggestions as to time. One suggestion, is to start gate trials @ 1000, pizza @ 1200 or 1300 along with meeting.

From the feedback I've received, I have decided to proceed with the original plans for the annual meeting.  The annual meeting will be held during our fun ride on October 27th at Mountain Road.  Fun ride to start @ 10:00 am, will break for pizza and meeting @ 12:30 pm.  Riding will resume following meeting.  Feedback dictates gate trials, details to be posted later.

Yes, need more input.  Want to know where we would have the largest turnout.  We could even have it at my home if members want to come to Iowa.  Think I have received more positive responses about Mountain Rd than Black River Falls.  Don't want anyone thinking I'm not trying to be considerate to everyone's wants.  We need a  new secretary and treasurer voted in.  Also if anyone interested let me know. 

What to ask you when you would like to have our annual meeting.  Let me know if you would want it at Black River Falls or at the fun ride at Mountain Road, Oct 27.  Or any other ideas.  Suggestions welcome.

I want to extend congratulations to a former WOTA member, Pat Smage, winning the #1 plate at the NATC MotoTrials in Duluth, MN, his Sixth Pro Title.  I enjoyed both days, scoring at #12 on Sat. and #4 on Sun.  It was good to see so many riders I have met over the last 6 year, attending events with my husband.  Congratulations to all who rode.

Memorial service and visitation for Kim Doll will be held August 21 ,2013, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Century Hall in Wauzeka, WI.  Mark and family invite those in attendance to a lunch following the service.

I want to share with you the passing of Kim Doll last night. Kim was a supporter of WOTA for over 26 years. I know we all offer the Doll family our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts. Will post arrangements as soon as Pat notifies me.
