Hey Noel, there are a bunch of pictures on the WOTA facebook page.  Did you check it out?

We had a great event at Smagical Rock this weekend. The weather cooperated and landowner, Noel Smage did a great job setting up sections and planning some entertainment. Saturday night he had a huge bonfire and shot a few fireworks. On Sunday Pat Smage showed up and demonstrated his skills. A big thanks to Noel.

Sounds like Noel has been busy and has a great time planned for all at Smagical Rock. Hope you can make it.  Kevin has been there since Tuesday working with Noel, getting sections ready.  I'm hoping for some S'mores   Bring some extra money, WOTA and Noel both have t-shirts and Becky Bauer will have a donation can out (she is walking for Alzihelmers).
Even if you don't want a t-shirt or have extra cash for donations, please come and enjoy the ride, it still cost $25.00 for members to ride the event.  See ya all there.

Though we didn't have a great turnout of WOTA riders, those that did, all seemed to be having a great time. From sitting around the campfires, listening to the pool party, having front how seats to the drag race, I enjoyed myself. Riding through the woods on my 2 Up was a little scary for me so I didn't venture back to the last sections. Landowner Gerald and his family were very hospitable, a big thanks goes out to them And thanks to UMTA for hosting this event. They put a new twist to the sections that everyone enjoyed.

I'm usually ready for bed by 9:00 pm, unless it's some good country music.

Another reminder. Joint events with UMTA on August 23 and 24, 2014. Primitive camping available both Friday and Saturday nights. Signup beginning at 9:00 am both days with riders meeting at 11:00. See website for more information.

Yes, I want to play too.  Judy got the camping permit to include the 25-26 weekend if anyone want to camp.

Great turnout this weekend at the Mente's farm on Mountain Road, Baraboo, WI. A big thank you to Jim, John and Judy for sharing their land with us. A big thank you to Judy for all her hard work providing food and refreshments. Another big thank you goes out to our Trial Master Jim Voigtlander in appreciation for all the hours and hours of hard work he put into section building. Want to give credit also to Mike Mullarkey for helping Jim. Hope Mike's poison ivy clears up soon. Another thank you to David Gunn. Dave had bike problems but stayed to set up three youth sections for the seven year old riders. Pete "Speedy" Laubmeier donated 2 quarts of oil. The rider with the most points and the rider with the least points were the recipients of these quarts. Thank you Speedy. And a final thank you to Nancy Littlefield for providing the makings for S'mores as we sat around campfires on Saturday night enjoying time with our trials family.

Wauzeka Trials -  May 10 & 11, 2014

Remember to wear your "Riding in Memory of Kim Doll" t-shirts.  If you don't have one and would like one, they will be available.  Some of the First Responders that worked with Kim will be providing food for after the event on Saturday and will serve the leftovers on Sunday.  They will provide food for donations.

There are a couple parking places across the road from the homestead by the barn for those with bigger rigs and there is room by the road, next to the pits.

The weather forecast sounds good for this weekend.  Hope to see you there.
