Re: CMJ MotorTrials event 8-11-18

I want to give recognition to all the hard workers who helped set up the event on Friday:  Kevin Huber, Jeff Lange, Rob Walters, Gary Bright, Homer Weber, Mike McConaughy, Pat Doll, Will Check, Ralph Littlefield and Tom Littlefield.

On the day of the event, we had many people step forward to help score.  Thank you to Jeff Lange, Nancy Littlefield, Kathy Drummond, Janice Wallerich and Mike Mauritz.

I hope I didn't forget anyone.  Thank you to all.

Wanting to get feed back as to when we should have the pre-youth ride.  I like the way we did it at Baraboo.  When score cards are turned in at 4:00, the pre-youth rode while we are compiling scores on Saturday. Then they could ride the sections on Sunday.  Please let me know.

The shoot out was exciting to watch. Pat had a lot of supporters cheering him on.

Hi,  I don't know who 2whlrcr is.  So is this a champs only?

I was anxiously checking NATC web page both days for updates.  Last year they did a lot better.  Congratulations to Pat.  We were all cheering for him.

Gary Lingbeck from Lena, IL has invited anyone interested to an open ride on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Ride will start at 10:00 am

The annual meeting was held October 1, 2016, at Black River Falls.

The club voted to upgrade the ribbon/tape used to mark sections.  And we will use different score cards.
It was decided to have the same events as last year but there will be different dates for some.  Dates have not been decided pending replies from landowners.
Kevin Huber volunteered to be trials master for Mountain Road.
The club voted that event start times and durations will remain the same.
New officers elected are:
Vice President - Dave Johnson
Treasurer - Jeff Franklin
Secretary - Janice Wallerich

We had a good turnout for the event this last weekend.  A big thanks to Jim Mente, the landowner, Judy Mente for the concession stand, the trials master and all the workers.  Without all your help we can't put on an event.  We also had an increase in the number of spectators for the Baraboo event.  See ya next month

Andy Hackett has stepped forward to fill the treasurer vacancy and has been approved by remaining officers.  Thank you Andy.
After we have received the secretary's minutes and have more information concerning next years events, we post that info.

Dear WOTA members,

When I got home from Black River Falls, I received an email from Dave Schigoda informing me that he is no longer interested in serving as treasurer.  He was sorry he missed the meeting and request we search for a new WOTA treasurer.

Since we already had our annual meeting and reelected all the current officers, I appeal to those who would be interested in assuming this position to please contact me.  Those with any questions, please call me at 319-624-2003 or 319-330-8016.
