Hello Everyone, I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our last Nitro/Wota event in Oregon Il. What a great group of people.
Jeff, Marie, and Nell. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR WORK YOU DID ALL YEAR ROUND TO MAKE THIS EVENT A GREAT ONE!!!! For those of you who did not know, they have worked out in the woods All year round to clear more ground for the 24 sections....making it possible for us to have a great two day event. Then there were the unexpected surprises....... many trees blew down onto the areas that they had already cleared. Wow. We will never be able to repay you for all of your hard work. THANK YOU for allowing us to come to your home!
A BIG THANK YOU to Kevin Huber for hand making our oh so cool wooden pens and holders that were given out as awards, at the Oregon event. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this project. Kevin you are a great asset to both the WOTA and Nitro Clubs.
Thank you Warren Lange and Eric Miller for volunteering to get signatures on the waivers at the front gate. It really helps protect our club. Thanks for your time.
Thank you Shari Huber and Nancy Littlefield for manning the sign-up and scoring for the trial. What a lot of work those two did!
Thanks to to Lisa Whitley, who volunteered to help us organize and add up the score cards. You helped sped up getting to the awards. Your help was so appreciated.
Thank you to John Smage for volunteering to check a section all day. That freed up 3 riders from checking for the day.
A big thanks to all the club members who came out and help set up the sections for this event. Countless hours were worked to make this event possible.
Ralph Littlefield

Yes. We are calling it the Knobby class. They will be riding the novice line. If enough interest with hard core knobby riders we could ride an advanced knobby class on the intermediate line. No district points are awarded for this class. There will be trophies. Had the KDX in all the novice lines. it was a good time. Ralph

Club 95, First of all , thanks for all the info you have put forth on and about the Duluth Nat. My first question is can you leave 2-3 poster's for me at Dickeyville, I cant make it Sat. but will be there on Sun. I reserved a campsite at Spirit Mtn.campgrounds as soon as you made your first post about the upcoming event, what I was wondering was will I need to set up a "pit area" in the parking lot of the event , or will I be able to access the event from the camp ground?

Also Many thanks to John, Judy and Jim M ,As an active member of 2 separate MC clubs it amazes me how AWESOME the land owners are that I have come in contact with . Ralph

stevek and dschigoda both bring up good points, I would like to add this , As this years schedule began to take shape it was apparent to me that it would be a tough year to make all the events that I wanted to.....With the World Round reappearing in the US.....and Duluth hosting a NATC national , choices were going to be painful. I know that I missed Wauzeka because I couldn't swing it and the World Round on consecutive weekends , How many others were in that same situation ? Maustin was blessed with some late sleet and COLD weather, But also 3 people missed it because of set up for Pearl City How many missed Baraboo because they were headed to the western swing of the NATC ? I know of at least 3 from IL. MINN. ? I know of 8 riders that missed NITRO's Polo event because of the eastern swing of the NATC events.... 2013 is a great year for trials in the Mid-west , It may be tough on turn out at a few local events , but it is a great year.
Steve K. points out getting involved with passion and Dave S. points out the increase in involvement in setup and Kevin is clear on where he stands....theres no throwing in the towel there! Ralph
