Title: High Five to helpers/riders Mauston
Post by: northernnorm on April 18, 2014, 10:22:15 AM
A big thanks to those who made the trip  and enjoyed  a good day. What appeared to be yet another  cursed type of day, turned out just fine as far as tires meeting terra .By  the scores we did  a nice job  with the layout,we did err on the short/basic/  safe side by a long shot ,but  I see very few loop[ scores under 10  so  I guess it wasnt boring. We  gave the bike launch  a rest -rather using the energy to  present  an award that I feel was 10 x better than any stand up  basic trophy. Looking forward to September when we will be wrapping around to the North side  and will have  a fun mile long loop with some fun  cambers and rock launching jumps if desired.Keep in touch as I spend many days up there throughout the summer  , will be clearing some more insane high up the walls spots and some more all ride spots.  Waking up Monday to 4 inches wet snow  I could hear tree limbs snapping off every 10 minutes  so   unknown as of yet how many fell in riding spots.   thanks again for coming  and to the riders who wussed out  ,  sorry you  missed out.  cheers, Noel
