Title: Wauzeka event Post by: motorman442 on May 06, 2013, 08:59:00 PM Never been there, could a person get an 35' RV in there for the weekend or just during the day? (weighs 24,500 lbs).
Thanks Scott Bauer Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: khub on May 07, 2013, 09:19:59 AM Just got off the phone with Pat Doll. I will be heading up to Wauzeka this Saturday to help him and a few others with set up for the event, which is the following weekend. If anyone else wants to show up I'm sure he can use the help. He also told me that the pits will not be in the back field this year. It will be in an area closer to the house on County Road N. Not sure how big the area is so I will find out and let everyone know.
Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: Murrcutio on May 08, 2013, 07:17:22 PM So we won't have to drive down that long Burgus Rd?
Will it be closer to Coyote? Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: khub on May 11, 2013, 07:33:01 PM Don't go from County N down Burgus Road. The pits is to the west of the Doll Farmhouse, which is east of Burgus Road about 1/2 mile on County Road N. Scott, Pat says if it's too wet for your motorhome in the pits he will have you park in the drive across the road from the farmhouse.
Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: dschigoda on May 13, 2013, 02:58:56 PM My phone keeps telling me there is a river flood warning for Wauzeka through tomorrow (Tuessday). Was it wet there this past weekend? How'd it go?
Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: khub on May 13, 2013, 04:50:31 PM Saturday the traction was great. And I didn't see any mud at all in any of the sections. Hope it stays that way, but a little rain shouldn't hurt it much.
Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: Murrcutio on May 14, 2013, 09:50:51 PM alright! getting excited!

Title: Re: Wauzeka event Post by: dschigoda on May 21, 2013, 08:54:00 AM It rained a little before we started on Sunday, but it wasn't too bad. Like our web page says, we ran Saturday 11am - 4 pm, and Sunday 10 am - 2pm. 3 loops of 8 sections on Sat., 3 loops of 9 sections on Sun. Over all we had a nice weekend. Nice big loop, great sections, great weather, great riding, but Wauzeka was sparsley attended. On Saturday, the specatators far outnumbered the competitors. A large group of dual sport/ adventure riders showed up, outnumbering the trials riders! I will post the results soon. Right now I'm swamped with work. :o
