Swelling nearly gone, bruises are fading, got stitches out today....Yeh!!!! Leg is healing well. Will need to get recheck on nose but breathing is fine so I don't think there's any issues. Does anyone have an update on Mike? Also, if someone could post my 'thank you' post on the WOTA site that would be much appreciated. Tried to sign up for WOTA site but so far haven't been able to.
Deb asked to have this posted, and I got a text from Mike saying he is doing better everyday! says he is still alittle soar but should be getting back to normal soon, as we all hope too!!! J.V. It's reassuring to know that we're surrounded by lots of good people when we ride. Yes it was very scary. I am recovering from my injuries....broken nose, 5 st...itches in chin, 2 black eyes, deep bruise on upper thigh, sprained thumb and LOTS of bruises & scrapes. While I will get back on the bike, I'm not so sure about competing again this year. I think it might make sense to spend some more time on the bike training. We'll see! Thanks again to everyone who helped! And I hope & pray that Mike makes a quick recovery too.
