Title: Re: Sportsman of the Year, it's a No-Brainer Post by: northernnorm on November 19, 2007, 11:52:03 AM We are back and quite surprised and pleased to announce that Patrick did indeed win the top athlete award which is the final and most prestigious award of the evening , in 30 years the only trials riders to be on that list are Bernie, Scottt Head ans Geoff AAron . We will try to post picture of Pat and his fine awards on Smageshercosales site soon. The Endurocross was very crazy Phil had the 6th fastesthot lap out of 36 extremely well known riders but in his semi heat Kieth Wineland got pretty sideways off of a big double log jump and hit Phil in air as the landing pretzeled Phils front wheel he was done for the night go to cyclenews for full story on the coverage. cheers
