Jorge and I went over the season points very carefully, so here goes... Congratulations to our FIRST PLACE District 16 Season Point Series riders! Rick Condron-Champ; Pat Doll-Expert; Tom Gillespie-Advanced; Jesse Caballero-Intermediate; Pat Mullarky-Novice; Mark Doll-Vintage; and Frank Caballero-Trail Bike. I know there were trials events held in Michigan on a regular basis since the mid 1960's, and I have read trials coverage of events in the U.S. in motorcycle magazines from the 1950's. The articles had photos of guys on Harleys, Triumphs, and BSA's riding across a stream with at least 6 inches of water and mud in it!!! :o
