Title: Manchester 2022
Post by: khub on July 22, 2022, 07:17:41 AM
Trials, Trials, Trials!  3 days of events in Manchester Iowa 8/5,6&7. Unfortunately the Bacon N Hops festival has been canceled for this year but there is free, outdoor, live music Friday evening adjacent to Saturdays Pit Area. There is also a bicycle trials and inner tube race that evening. No entry fee for either event. Saturday’s Moto Trials is at the Whitewater Park as in the past. Sunday is at a new location- Schram Park (120 Schram Drive) just blocks from the Whitewater Park. There is free camping with indoor restrooms for racers and their families. We will be running a bike/rider shuttle to and from the camping area for Saturday’s event. Concessions and event T-Shirts will be for sale both days. A big THANK YOU to the City of Manchester for allowing us to expand to a 2-day event at another city park. The events are presented by Hartwick Marina with the help of all the businesses listed in the picture.   All events are free for spectators.

Manchester pits.
For Saturday trials pits are behind Bushel & A Peck downtown on Hwy13/W Main as usual (yellow circle top of photo). No camping there and too small for everyone to show up with their camper. We will be allowed to camp at the Sunday pits at Schram Park at 120 Schram Drive (yellow circle bottom of photo). We can camp there Friday and Saturday, and if you are coming to help setup downtown Friday can camp Thursday at Schram. If you and your bike need shuttled downtown and back Saturday Chris's son will have a vehicle and motorcycle trailer to take you there and back. Please respond if you will need shuttled so we have an idea of how many.  Also, there are restrooms in pavilion south of pits, so if you need to use it you may want to camp at south end of pit area. Stay northeast of drive, don't camp in small grassy area by pavillion/playground.
